City makes progress with the resurfacing of Koeberg Road
06 August 2024
The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility yesterday visited the site along Koeberg Road, Milnerton where the Roads Infrastructure Management team is currently busy with the road resurfacing of this main road in the area. The work will continue for another month, if all goes as planned. Read more below:
The roadworks will take place along the following sections of these roads:
• Koeberg Road southbound, Racecourse Road to Freedom Way and from Loxton Road to Boundary Road
• Koeberg Road northbound from Zastron to Racecourse Road
• Racecourse Road eastbound and westbound, between Koeberg Road and Otto Du Plessis Drive
‘We would like to thank road users for their patience up until now as well as over the next few weeks as we resurface these key sections of the road network in Milnerton. I am happy to see the good amount of work that has been covered by the team in just over a week. At this rate and if the weather plays along, we should complete the works within a month as planned. We have intentionally scheduled for the works to take place outside of the peak traffic hours, however residents should anticipate some delays and plan accordingly,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
